Supreme Structures field employees attended ABC Safety Courses.
1. On Febuary 9, Supreme Structures field employees attended the annual ABC Safety Conference at The Wilderness Resort in Wisconsin Dells. The safety conference included over 40 different seminars, all focused on employee safety on the jobsite, from new Crane Standards, to electrical safety and DOT requirements. It is the fundamental belief of Supreme Structures that as a company we strive to provide the safest and best equipment, practices and training available to ensure every person on every jobsite goes home everynight, no exceptions.
2. On February 16 and 17th, Eric Heise and Chad Mielke attended the ABC sponsored-ACI Flatwork Finisher program. They received certifications through ACI for Flatwork Technician. The American Concrete Institute (ACI) is a nonprofit technical and educational society organized in 1904 and is one of the world's leading authorities on concrete technology. ACI is a forum for the discussion of all matters related to concrete and the development of solutions to problems. www.concrete.org
3. Throughout 2011, Dennis Wilds has been attending ABC Jobsite Superintendent Academy. Graduation is slated for April 1. This version of ABC's JSA academy is a comprehensive training program for superintendents, jobsite managers, and field supervisors for ABC sub-contractors and general contractors. Designed to provide relevant, cutting-edge training, this is a high energy program that makes jobs easier to manage and improves quality, profitability, and personal job satisfaction. Each class session provides participants with techniques for managing crews and projects that can be applied immediately on the jobsite and then evaluated at the next class session.
